Pope Francis Condemns Kidnap of 317 Girls in Jangebe, Says “I’m Praying for them…”

Pope Francis has condemned the recent kidnap of 317 girls from Government Girls’ Secondary School, Jangebe in Zamfara State describing it as “vile”.

The Holy Father who made this known via his official Twitter handle on Sunday said he was praying for the girls to return home soon.

“I join my voice to that of the Bishops of Nigeria to condemn the vile kidnapping of the 317 girls, taken away from their school in Jangebe. I am praying for these girls so they might return home soon. I am near to their families”, the Pontiff said.
